Coloured Sheep and Coloured Wool Products
After more than 30 years of breeding, the Wilanjie flock of coloured Corriedales continues
to produce a delightful range of coloured fleeces for handcraft use and coloured wool
products.

For Knitters
 |
- 8 ply knitting yarns available in 50gm balls and 500gm hanks in natural light grey and
natural black.
Suggestion: Knit with one colour and a pattern eg cables to give surface texture or knit
with two natural colours for patterned garments.
- Latest yarn is an interesting 'Heather' yarn available in both balls and skeins.

Garments for those cold winter months
- Wonderful classic 'cable plus rib' jumpers make perfect gifts for people looking
for a dressy casual appearance.
- Garments come in sizes 14 - 24 (please check availability).
- Style is dropped shoulder for a relaxed fit.
- Current stock is available in round or v - neck in a mid grey colour.
- Garments suit men and women of all shapes and sizes and are typically purchased
for 18th and 21st birthday presents, as gifts for friends and family overseas, or for
older men who find youthful jumpers in menswear stores not suited to their requirements.
For Spinners
- Individual fleeces for hand spinning or blending with other fibres to produce
original yarns - minimum order is 1kg.
- Natural coloured wool tops packaged in 400gm bags
This washed and combed fibre is ideal for speedy waste-free spinning.
Suggestion: Spin an original yarn by combining natural fleeces and commercially dyed wool tops.
For Felters
- Select your fleeces in several colours to wash/overdye/card then felt into floor rugs,
garments, wall hangings and soft furnishings.
- Prepared washed and combed wool tops are ready for immediate felting or can be used
as the base layer and your colours applied to the top layer to save on more expensive
commercially dyed wool tops.
- Felt batts for large projects. These measure 1.8 x 2.4m and are available in 3 colours
(light grey, mid grey/brown and dark). Cost is $50 per kg (one complete batt), $10 per 200gm bag.
For Weavers
- Corriedale fleeces are ideal for packed fleece rugs.
- Spin your original yarns and overdye them to use as weft feature yarns in fabric
for garments and in scarves.
Sheepskins for the Elderly, Babies
- Tanned sheepskins provide comfort in all seasons and are ideal for cushioning the
delicate bodies of the elderly in bed or for babies in prams etc.
- Use sheepskins as car seat covers for a luxurious and comfortable ride.
- Natural coloured sheepskin floor rugs add luxury and comfort to any home and make
excellent gifts for people of all ages.
For Breeders

- Breeding stock is available at certain times of the year. Lambing is in May/June so
weaned lambs are available in September.
- Breeding ewes and rams are best selected before shearing in September.
