1. Robert¹ Woodgate was born 1821. Robert died 30 Dec 1863 at 42 years of age.

He married Margaret Heberley in Wellington, New Zealand, 5 Jul 1854. Margaret was born in Cloudy Bay, New Zealand 27 Dec 1832. Margaret was the daughter of James Worser Heberley and Te Wai. Margaret died 23 Nov 1873 in Queen Charlotte Sounds, at 40 years of age.

Robert Woodgate and Margaret Heberley had the following children:
