He married Ann Mary Rush in Kaitune, Malborough, NZ, 24 Dec 1890. Ann was born in Grovetown, New Zealand 23 Apr 1867. Ann was the daughter of Francis Bine (Frank) Rush and Maria Louisa Mortimer. Ann died 13 Jul 1951 in Blenheim, New Zealand, at 84 years of age.
