3. Edward Walter³ Frend (George², John¹) was born in Dorset, England Abt 1865. Edward died 1906/1911 in Lower Hutt, NZ, at 42 years of age.

He married Amelia Mary Legg in Dorset, England, 19 Mar 1894. Amelia was born in Puddletown, Doreset, England 29 Mar 1866, the daughter of Alexander Legg and Ann Bowles.

Edward Walter Frend and Amelia Mary Legg had the following child:

4 i. Ida Rose⁴ Frend was born in Parkstone, Dorset, England 3 Dec 1894. Ida died 13 Nov 1984 in Lower Hutt, NZ, at 89 years of age. She married Cyril Llewellyn Heberley in Wellington, NZ, 1919. Cyril was born in Wellington, NZ 20 Aug 1893, the son of Jacob William Heberley and Sarah McLochlan. Cyril died 14 Sep 1975 in Lower Hutt, NZ, at 82 years of age.
