7. Achilles⁷ Fortescue (James⁶, Lewis⁵, Bartholomew⁴, John³, Martin², Sir John¹) birth date unknown.

He married Prudence Luttrell in Braunton, 1633, the daughter of Andrew Luttrell and Prudence Abbot.

Achilles Fortescue and Prudence Luttrell had the following child:

8 i. Grace⁸ Fortescue. Died 1670 in Gorran, Cornwall. She married Thomas Hoblyn in Braunton, 1 May 1652. Thomas was born in Gorran, Cornwall Abt 1625, the son of Edward Hoblyn and Mary Apley. Died 1704/5 in Gorran, Cornwall. (See Thomas Hoblyn for the continuation of this line.)

She was baptized in Hartland, 1635.
