He married Eleanor Marie Eliza Cox in Wellington, New Zealand, 5 Mar 1891. Eleanor was born in Devon, England 1851, the daughter of Thomas Hugh Ross Cox and Mary Howard. Eleanor died 6 Sep 1901 in Feilding, New Zealand. He married Helena Amy Madocks in Feilding, New Zealand, 7 Jun 1902. Helena was born in Chertsey, Surrey, England 1865/66, the daughter of John Madocks and Sarah Maria Robinson. Helena died 6 Dec 1909 in New Zealand, at 43 years of age. He married Agnes Elizabeth Madocks in Auckland, New Zealand, 11 Jan 1910. Agnes was born in Chertsey, Surrey, England 1865/66, the daughter of John Madocks and Sarah Maria Robinson. John was born in Cullompton, Devon, England 25 Nov 1849, the son of Ambrose Shere and Sarah Kent Coleman. John died 24 Sep 1920 in Palmerston North.

7 iv. Marian Fowles was born in Camden Town, London. 25 Apr 1850. Marian died 29 Aug 1939 in Picton, New Zealand, at 89 years of age. She married Frederick Henry Carrick in Feilding, New Zealand, 26 Dec 1875. Frederick was born in Bermondsey, Surrey, England 17 Sep 1846, the son of Frederick Carrick and Catherine Franklin.
