4. Richard Harold² Dry (James Robert¹) was born in Picton, New Zealand 1866. Richard died 26 Jul 1947 in Nelson, New Zealand, at 81 years of age.

He married twice. He married Jemimah Glendinning Finlay in Blenheim, New Zealand, 1903. Jemimah was born in Kaiapoi, New Zealand 1876. Jemimah was the daughter of George Finlay and Agnes Redpath. Jemimah died 25 Aug 1906 in Blenheim, New Zealand, at 30 years of age. He married Ellen Ann Carrick in Church of the Nativity, Blenheim, NZ, 6 Feb 1909. Ellen was born in Wellington, NZ 21 Jul 1880. Ellen was the daughter of Frederick Henry Carrick and Marian Fowles. Ellen died 18 Jul 1938 in Picton, New Zealand, at 57 years of age.
