9. Richard Harold3 Dry (John James2, James Robert1) was born in Te Awaiti, New Zealand 15 Sept 1897. Richard died 29 June 1976 in Lower Hutt, at 78 years of age.

He married Rachel Henrietta Johnson in Wellington, 2 Sep 1931. Rachel was born 24 Mar 1907. Rachel was the daughter of John Johnson and Henrietta Hooper. Rachel died 13 Jan 1983 in Lower Hutt, at 75 years of age.

Richard Harold Dry and Rachel Henrietta Johnson had the following children:

child 23 vi. Raymond Douglas Dry was born 13 Mar 1941.

child 24 vii. Gordon Albert Dry was born 21 Aug 1942.

child 25 viii. Allan Richard Dry was born 11 Mar 1944.

child 26 ix. Lois Ann Dry was born 24 Jul 1945.

child 27 x. Trevor George Dry was born 12 Nov 1946. He married Evelyn May Duncalf 17 Aug 1968.
