Bring your puppy to class from 8 weeks old and all vaccinations are up to date before joining.
Puppies and handlers are taught various skills in a fun and positive environment. Each class consists of three parts:
(a) Socializing the puppy
(b) Learning about puppy & how to care for it
(c) Learning how to teach puppy life skills

Exercises incl: Control, Praise, Play, Socialising, Focusing/Watching, Walking/Heeling, Sit, Drop, Recall, Favourite Article, Controlled Feeding & an intro to other fun activities like agility, show training & tracking.


Solutions for puppy problems such as mouthing, chewing and jumping are discussed in class.

Although you are part of a group, each puppy is assessed to establish individual needs and a highly supportive team is there for encouragement.

You will be part of this group until puppy reaches six months old. With all the exercises learnt you can expect to own a basically trained young dog, who will be a credit to the breed.

Our teaching method relies heavily on finding the right motivation for each individual, positive reinforcement and plenty of fun!

Our goal is to teach the handler how to communicate their needs to the puppy in a way that puppy will understand. Dogs need to please and they just need to know what to do.
